Mid 2011, at The Group, I was asked to write a lot of scripting for the new corporate site including an AJAX layer for the Global Directory, Showcase and Capabilities & Markets pages. I also wrote an image gallery script for the Showcase pages, AJAX layers for the news, video gallery and site search tools as well as some ASP/XML for the home page which allows for different content layouts to be set in the CMS. -

On contract @ Candi autumn/winter 2010, I was part of the redesign team. I also developed front-end code for a versatile grid-based content template allowing web producers to create complex landing pages from within the management system. -

Working on contract at Work Comms mid 2010, the main task during my brief time was to create an (already designed) interactive timeline to better illustrate the Career Journey content over last year's standard content pages. Using supplied imagery assets and with a tight deadline, I was required to determine how best to develop the user interaction and then complete the build. Using jQuery and an OO methodology I was able to quickly write robust JavaScript, CSS and xHTML to deliver the 4 career journeys ahead of schedule. -

This e-commerce site build was a challenge as content and design were both fairly heavy. Multiple product, category and sub category page scenarios were needed. Optimising content delivery from a single web server was vital. -

A really fun project to work on and a challenge to provide such rich content as efficiently as possible; the product page was a good challenge as there are multiple possibilities depending on the product being viewed. Have you played 'breakout'?
