Getting There (and a little announcement)

We’re well on the way now to getting on the plane. The nice people at our letting agency have found us tenants for the house for a whole 12 months starting at the end of September. Fingers crossed they stick it out and commit to renting our little home!

We’re only off for 6 months so what we’re going to do after we get back, we don’t know…

Now to the announcement. Family and a lot of friends already know this but Vic and I went for a walk on Sunday 16th around Beaulieu and Bucklars Hard. On the way back we stopped along the river walk where I asked Vic if she would marry me and, well, she said yes! (more…)

Here It Be

Firstly, this is a very quick introductory post just to say hi, here’s my new blog. It’s Sunday late afternoon and I should be outside in the sun before it disappears completely Monday afternoon a week later. The blog is finally up and running after a couple of weeks of mucking about.  I’m still tweaking the design around here and there so things may well still be changing.
