Getting There (and a little announcement)

We’re well on the way now to getting on the plane. The nice people at our letting agency have found us tenants for the house for a whole 12 months starting at the end of September. Fingers crossed they stick it out and commit to renting our little home!

We’re only off for 6 months so what we’re going to do after we get back, we don’t know…

Now to the announcement. Family and a lot of friends already know this but Vic and I went for a walk on Sunday 16th around Beaulieu and Bucklars Hard. On the way back we stopped along the river walk where I asked Vic if she would marry me and, well, she said yes!

She must be nuts.

We’re both really excited and a little overwhelmed at the moment – there’s tons going on and every day something new seems to crop up. We haven’t really planned anything wedding-wise just yet but we’re thinking doing it in Thailand would be ideal for us. If anyone knows anything about how to go about this we always appreciate good advice!

Aw thanks guys. There should be a little form down the bottom of each post, but not on the home page… Was great to meet you and we’re hoping you’re getting on a bit better now?!
