Photos!

Yay! At long last. Bangkok has come up trumps. There are photos to be found in the right column of any page – just scroll down a bit. To see biggeruns, just click!

We’re in Bangkok and have been since last Thursday lunchtime. Quite a shock to the system this city has been – things are a little more advanced here than our previous destinations. It’s a bit like being on the set of Futurama or indeed just the future…

We leave this Thursday (paperwork pending, touch wood) for Cambodia by train. Apparently, things are a little strained between Thailand and Cambodia at the moment. Something to do with a convicted ex Prime Minister being hired over the border on economic duties. All means nothing to us of course, except we’re a little worried about the crossing… We’ll let you know.

What else? Skyscrapers, 3D cinemas, supercars on the 6th floor, new teeth, south-east Asia’s largest aquarium in the basement of a shopping mall and the largest food court possibly on Earth, amazing temples, friendly locals but lots and lots of liars telling us everything shut and we’d be much more comfortable in their nice air conditioned shop several miles away. Bangkok is awesome! We’re staying on the Khoa San road, which Mr. Peter will no doubt tell you is a little nuts.

It sounds like you’re having a great time, pity you’re not in India in Jan as I will be there, and if you are planning on coning to Sri Lanka email me as I will be there from next week.

Jay? Wow, hi! How are you? Ah that’s a real shame, our time in that part of the world has come to an end. Sadly, we never made it to Sri Lanka this time but we loved South India and SL is definately on our list.

Say in touch though, it would be great to hear how everything is coming along. I will email you about other things when we get home, though that’s not until April…

  4. Looks like you are a real professional. Did ya study about the theme? lol
