Vicki and I get married today! The hotel is stunning, as is the weather and the food. We’ve just been treated to an aromatherapy massage each and it was incredibly relaxing. I feel melted and sleepy. Time for a swim I think…

3 people will be glad to know that my other name, Sue, is sticking around out here. Stu seems too hard to pronounce. No one though (Cookie, Pete, Kate if any of you read this), has called me Hot Jesus.

It’s been a while since we posted anything. I blame this country. There is a certain laziness to the Lao people that is infectious. We leave this glorious country day after tomorrow and that will be a sad sad day. Read the rest of this entry »

Hello. We’ve been taking it quite easy since we arrived in Vietnam at the start of the month. After Ho Chi Minh we headed to Dalat which was a little chilly, but a really nice place with a (the) Crazy House which was a lot of fun to explore. Then it was onto Nha Trang for a couple of days where we promised we wouldn’t even enquire about diving. December is a notoriously bad month in Nha Trang with daily rain and high winds. When we arrived it was clear skies and blazing hot so we promptly went diving for the day. And what a day! The water was very good, if a little cold and we had 2 incredible dives.
