It lives!

Ok, I know I’ve been going for a month now, but the site is finally finished* and live! caramelbiscuit ltd lives and, I have to say, so far so good!

I’ve enjoyed a very valuable first month’s freelancing, where I have been working with the fabulous fellows at The Group. Thanks to everyone there who made me feel welcome, I enjoyed my time with you guys and I hope that’s not the last we’ll see of each other.

So what’s going on this month? Well, so far, I’m spending the month working from the office at home for new and existing clients whilst also trying to drum up new work. There’s a little bit lurking in the pipeline waiting to burst forth so let’s hope it makes it! I’ve not posted anything here since we returned to the UK as I’ve been (hopefully slyly) developing the new site whilst still live. Which I do not recommend at all. (more…)

Getting There (and a little announcement)

We’re well on the way now to getting on the plane. The nice people at our letting agency have found us tenants for the house for a whole 12 months starting at the end of September. Fingers crossed they stick it out and commit to renting our little home!

We’re only off for 6 months so what we’re going to do after we get back, we don’t know…

Now to the announcement. Family and a lot of friends already know this but Vic and I went for a walk on Sunday 16th around Beaulieu and Bucklars Hard. On the way back we stopped along the river walk where I asked Vic if she would marry me and, well, she said yes! (more…)
