Vic’s recovering from illness on the sofa, so i’m playing without sound. still amazing. Not quite what we’d planned for Sydney though… Still, plenty of time left for sightseeing. Big day tomorrow!

After everything that was amazing on Koh Samui and we’d said all the sad farewells, we left the island with Tana & Dave headed for the mainland and Krabi. After discovering the happening of a disaster (a manageable one though eh?) we headed out on the ferry to Koh Pu – a tiny island off the Krabi coast, near Koh PhiPhi and the others. (more…)

Vicki and I get married today! The hotel is stunning, as is the weather and the food. We’ve just been treated to an aromatherapy massage each and it was incredibly relaxing. I feel melted and sleepy. Time for a swim I think…

3 people will be glad to know that my other name, Sue, is sticking around out here. Stu seems too hard to pronounce. No one though (Cookie, Pete, Kate if any of you read this), has called me Hot Jesus.

It’s been a while since we posted anything. I blame this country. There is a certain laziness to the Lao people that is infectious. We leave this glorious country day after tomorrow and that will be a sad sad day. (more…)
